Just what is a green screen?
Green screen shooting (aka chromakeying) is the technique of shooting a subject in front of a green background and automatically replacing the background with a background image. Green screen shooting is used for movie special effects and for TV e.g. weather forecasts where the presenter stands in front of a computer generated weather map.
So what does this mean for you the user?
The live view images shown to the user are also green screened allowing users to interact with the virtual background and see what the final photos will look like. An optional foreground overlay image can also be used with transparent or semi-transparent areas. The users will appear behind the foreground overaly and in front of the background image. Different green screen backgrounds can be used for each shot in the photo booth shooting sequence – this is great fun at kids parties, weddings, bar and bat mitzvah’s, birthdays, and the list goes on and on and on!
What do we offer?
We offer the guest different green screen photo booth services. The client may choose from one image or have it automatically rotate through multiple images. Every photo in your guests photo booth strip could have a different background! We even offer a service where you may let your guest choose from up to eight different backgrounds.
No doubt that a photo booth in itself is tons of fun. Give your guests another way to interact and take the party up another notch with the green screen photo booth option.
